Adult Beginner

Ready to finally learn how to use that sewing machine you have stowed away in the back of the closet? So many adults are excited to come learn the basics and more! Come join us one evening per week and we will teach you everything you need to know to become a much more confident sewer!
Beginner class projects include a sturdy carrying bag plus a zipper project and more if time permits!
Price includes: Instruction time and all necessary machines, fabrics, tools, and notions. Each class will be held for two hours per week. Classes are difficult to make up, so please select a session that works with your schedule.
Sandhill Sling

Why is it that the perfect bag is so hard to find? In this class you’ll MAKE it! It will be useful for those days where you need you hands free, your bits and bob organized, and your outfit and accessories on point.

Spinning Hexis Quilt

Bring your own jelly roll or 42 assorted 2 1/2” strips | $60
We provide your jelly roll | $90
This adorable quilt makes the perfect table topper, wall hanging, or baby quilt! The simple and fun pattern will teach you new ruler techniques- and you only need a jelly roll to do it! You can also opt to use additional fabric to increase your quilt size.
This class covers construction of the quilt top only.

Memory Bear
Wednesdays starting October 21 | 6:30 pm | 4 weeks | $100
In this class, you’ll make an adorable keepsake bear you can keep, give away, or save for a family heirloom. It will be made from student-supplied fabrics that hold sentimental value such as baby clothes, clothing from loved ones, or even sports jerseys.
This project will make the perfect Christmas gift for kids or grandkids!
Cozy Quilted Jacket
Thursdays starting October 22 | 6:30 pm | 4 weeks | $100
Can you believe these quilted style jackets are back in style again? Fashion is truly cyclical! This blast from the past has a modern twist in the fit and fabric, and might even make even your teenaged daughter approve of your outfit, though we can’t make any promises.
After registering, we will email you the link for the sweatshirt you’ll need to bring for this project. We will provide your fabric in either a red & white or blue & white colorway.
